MANICure Monday — Twiggy

Hello! I've got another fall MANICure for you this week.

Yes, Sally Hansen Miracle Gel. Again. I really love this stuff. I used the shade Twiggy this week, which is a really nice neutral that has a unique yellow undertone (it reminds me of coffee ice cream, which is probably why I like it so much).

I wanted to add in some edge, so I lined some black studs around my nail bed. It's not my favorite look I've ever created with studs, but hey. I took the time to do it so I kept it for the week. The studs are Kiss (I bought a kit with gold, black, and diamond shades).

I've gotten some questions on how I apply the studs, so here's my process:
  • paint the nail whatever base color you want and let it dry
  • paint your nail with a top coat
  • while it's still wet, dip the tip of a manicure stick in your topcoat (to allow for easy pickup of the stud)
  • pick up a stud and place it in the desired area
  • once your studs are set in place and given a few minutes to dry, add another layer of topcoat to seal them in

Voila! You've got some fancy nails.

xx,
Caitlin.
