Hello everyone! I've got a new MANICure Monday post for you. This week I employed a technique called dry brushing, which gives the nails a textured, almost marble-like appearance. I'm totally diggin' it.
The base color is Calypso by Sinful Colors. It's a very deep forest green, and I really like it. Over top I used Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in Game of Chromes (I love that name) for the marbling effect.
So how did I achieve this awesome marbled look, you ask? It's ridiculously simple. All you need to do is wipe almost all of the color off of the brush (I just scrape it along the sides of the top of the bottle, that way I don't waste any polish) and swipe it softly across your nails. You want to avoid large globs of polish, because then you won't get the feathery effect.
Super simple, right?
xx,
Caitlin.
